Redirect on exception handling jsp page is not working.

            Description

            Following scenario for exception handling is not working:

            web.xml contains:

            <error-page>
                    <exception-type>java.lang.Exception</exception-type>
                    <location>/exceptionRedirect.jsp</location>
                </error-page>

            exceptionRedirect.jsp contains:

            <% response.sendRedirect("/App/error.jspx"); %>


            NOTE: same works for

            <error-page>
                        <error-code>404</error-code>
                        <location>/exceptionRedirect.jsp</location>
             </error-page>
