    Details

    • Type: Bug Bug
    • Status: Closed

    • Resolution: Fixed
    • Affects Version/s: 4.1, 4.2
    • Fix Version/s: EE-4.2.0.GA
    • Component/s: ACE-Components
    • Labels:
      None
    • Environment:
Tomcat 8, all browsers. This was not an issue in 4.0
    • Assignee Priority:
      P2

      Description

The jsf passthrough attributes such as p:placeholder are not properly rendered when the value comes from the backing bean. Instead of the expected value the URL of the test page appears. This was not an issue in 4.0. See attached screenshot.
The circled values should read "comp email" "comp phone" etc. like seen in the form below which just uses placeholder. The top 2 placeholders in the first form are correctly rendered because they are hard coded attributes in the textEntry (p:placeholder="text" and p:placeholder="number" )
